The Placentas Have Been Freed!!!

Birth Doulas in the past have had the problem of helping our clients take their placenta home for placenta encapsulation.  2015 legislative session passed HB 1670 making the placenta able to go home with the birthing mother from the hospital.  This bill takes full affect in January 2016.  This is totally exciting among birthing mothers

I feel like I am overall more educated in different areas of the birthing process, techniques and postpartum.

Aromatherapy Certification

Over the last year, I have really taken an interest in the use of essential oils for my family.  What I was lacking was the education.  I was introduced to the course Aromatherapy for Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum via another Doula.  I signed up for the online class and worked my way through it pretty
