What is Acupressure?

Acupressure reduces any emotional or physical discomfort a person may be having by applying firm pressure with your thumbs or index fingers on specific areas of the body.  It is an energetic-based medicine that dates back from China about 2500BC. Acupressure is a safe, effective and non-invasive treatment for pregnancy discomforts and baby positioning.

How Does Acupressure Work?

Based on the Chinese Meridian theory, Acupressure works by unblocking and restoring the flow of “Qi or Energy” in the human body. Applying pressure to certain Acupressure points on the body will unblock and restore the energy flow in the meridian.  The person should notice an immediate improvement in their discomfort level.
